Outrageously, California law instructs the State Department of Mental Health to conduct research into the supposed "causes and cures of homosexuality."

I hate how some parts of our state are so liberal and yet we still have these idiots who vote yes on prop 8. I mean come on. How can people think it's okay to restrict people's rights like that?

I'm not actually from California, but I figured maybe it would help if he could see that people all over the country are aware of the goings-on there, you know? Anyway, it can't hurt, I hope. :-)

of course this makes no sense because even the DMSB dropped homosexuality as a mental health issue at some point in the past. It's not a mental health issue, so why would the government want the Dept of Mental Health to do research on the topic! UGH!

people are assholes, when they'll get that you just can't change yourself to be straight when you're gay, and it is not fucking sickness you'll need to be cures from. it just doesn't work like that, though people can pretend to be something they are not. if they ever tries to do that here, i will become massive terrorist and blow up those people. ( i'm pissed)
