I'm so glad you liked it! I panicked a bit when I looked back at your prompt and realised it was slightly...funnier than what I'd done.

Fantastic story! So very well thought-out and so in character! Now you've got me wishing for a sequel, Sally's reaction to the fact that Sherlock is alive and Molly was part of the scheme xD

Lovely work :D

Thankyou! To be honest, I think a sequel, while dealing with those things too, would largely involve Sherlock's complete confusion at Sally and Molly being friends now.

I'll never like Sally but I do love Molly and this was a wonderful story.

Thank you and goodbye!

Considering you don't like Sally, thankyou very much for still reading and even commenting. I'll take it as a compliment that you could still enjoy it.

I enjoyed Molly's shy wisdom and enduring love. She's one of my favourite characters in the series and your story showed what I like about her perfectly. :)

Wow, this is fantastic! I love your interpretation of Sally - you get her very well. It's easy to see the show's Sally in her, but you expand her beyond that, give her doubts and feelings and make her very real (and even likable!). That was amazing. :-)

I love the interactions between Sally and Molly, part accusation, part bonding, part awkwardness. That felt very true to the characters. And nice to see that Molly (in contrast to many other post-Reichenbach fics I've read) CAN keep a secret and convincingly, too. :-)

I could quote a heap of favourite lines, but let's just say you won me over right at the beginning with: "Sally's mildly surprised to notice that they’re female, swiftly followed by the usual annoyance at herself for reacting the same way as everybody else does when it comes to herself." Because that's just so true!!

Thank you for writing this wonderful story! :-)

Oh thank God, I thought she might have gone a little too far off-script. I have to say, Sally's a character I'd really love to see developed - consider this some wishful thinking.

Considering that Molly has apparently been supplying Sherlock with morgue time and body parts for at least a year, she definitely seems somebody who can keep a secret. I might even say she's perfect for the job.

No no, thankyou for not only reading but reviewing!

I think it should be hard to get into Sally's head, so, this is really very good, you've been great at it. And it should also be hard to see her chatting with Molly. I mean, they're both clever women, but they're so very different. Still, in the end, they all had a part to play in the "game"...
Sorry, I'm rambling. Anyway, great fic! It feels so real and authentic.

Sally's one of those characters I'm always on the fence about: on the one hand, I can see why she doesn't like Sherlock, but on the other, her approach to that dislike doesn't do her any credit. It was surprisingly fun trying to get that on paper. Especially when I was also trying to think of how she and Molly would start getting along.

Considering all that, I'm glad you thought it still felt genuine. Thankyou!
