But you thought of it often when you were younger, and you think of it now. And you withhold the secret, even if that secret is nothing more than a silly vague

I honestly wonder how much esoteric stuff I've truly forgotten, mostly from my childhood. I've long held the sense that something was... wrong, from that time. Things were different, but somehow I've managed to forget most of it. They get you to take your eye off it, just for a moment, and then you can never quite find it again. "I turned to look, but it was gone. I cannot put my finger on it now..."

Sorry for the ramble, just touched a sympathetic nerve.
