This is an Akito fanmix, made at dayari's request, at this meme. This goes far beyond what the meme requires, because for a very long time Akito Sohma was my favorite character in all of anime--and even though I've switched fandoms, he always will be. Besides that, a lot of the music I like tends to deal with themes that remind me of him in some way.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! I tried to put a variety of music on there, because everyone has different tastes. Though I don't think there's any arguing that The Police aren't amazing.

Yes, the song fits perfectly. I actually made an AMV of it back when I still could make AMVs...it's kind of poorly timed but it was fun to make, and it actually got mentioned in an interview with the singer, because I sent it to him and he was talking about his fan base. XD; That was awesome.

I actually wasn't sure about adding Life'll Kill You. On the one hand it fits, but on the other hand Akito seems relatively convinced that no one besides him is going to die. In the end I just loved the song so much I couldn't not use it. And yes, I did think about this a lot, but Akito is one of my favorite characters ever, so it wasn't THAT hard. XD; I hope you like the music!

Also thank you for making me this icon, I can't stop using it!

I saw the anime first, and I was totally enamored with Akito. I thought he was one of the most complex, fascinating characters I had ever seen. The manga didn't start getting published in English for quite some time, and when it did I had already spent a lot of time analyzing anime Akito. Manga Akito is fascinating and awesome, but she's not the same character and not the one I was so fascinated by.

This is really great! I like Akito a lot, too (and I really need to finish the manga, by the way). I actually like both of Akito's 'incarnations', but I'm more partial to the anime one for some reason. Anyway, cool FST! ^^

I did like both versions of Akito, I just preferred the anime version, mostly because it was the one I knew first. I'm not sure how I would have felt otherwise. I also felt a little more sympathy for anime!Akito's motivation, not to say that manga!Akito isn't sympathetic TOO, but. And, anime!Akito actually has medical problems! It's all in manga!Akito's head! I am a total ho for the sick!
