You're very welcome! I know these songs don't add much new to your music collection, but Earthworm is actually awesome...at some point I need to give you the whole album, it's really adorable and fantastic. :D
Yay and double-yay for Nada Surf! :D I think "I Should Be Allowed To Think" fits the most, what with the line about seeing great minds being destroyed by madness. (= Obvious reference to Light! ^^)
All these songs are awesome--thanks for posting! ♥
Yeah, that's the one I think fits best too. *nods* I actually made a Matsuda AMV with this song back when I was still making AMVs. And yes, that is definitely a reference to Light. XD; I'm glad you enjoyed this, I'm hoping to put up more soon! (Your request has been the most inspiring, I have like 10 songs in mind for Akito. XD;)
I'm really happy about that one! Mal Blum does concerts at my school every so often, and I was getting really into an album I bought after a show, so it made me really happy to realize one of the songs applied! And you thought Walk Like A Man worked too, yay! I could never exactly define why I thought it did, but that song just screamed MATSUDA to me.
I guess it has sort-of naive hope/social justice combined with worry and a sense of confusion, which seems to fit ^^ it really works for me too and I can't quite define why, but I love the bit where it goes 'where is this peace that comes with age?'
Heh. Yeah, he's at the right age for that--he probably feels like he ought to be an adult by this point, but he's the youngest of everyone he works with except Light, who is ridiculously mature (at least he looks that way), and Matsuda definitely hasn't got everything figured out yet. Literally the first time I heard this song, all I could think was "Matsuda!!" XD'
