Oh boy, I haven't checked in on your page for quite a while. Great to see that you are so near the end of the fic, although I wonder how you'll handle Throne of Bhaal in just two chapters. :)

This chapter was, as always, extremely entertaining. The pretty anticlimactic death of Irenicus was an exercise in good planning by the heroes and it was nice to see the stupidity of the elf queen pointed out to her. :)

Looking forward to the last two chapters!

Thank you! For some strange reason my spamblocker put this comment in the Junk Mail folder and I've only just noticed it.

I have got bogged down slightly on the next chapter; a conversation between Buffy, Sorkatani, and a denizen of Bhaal's Pocket Plane spun off into material that was not relevant but shed too much light on Sorkatani's early background for me just to scrap it. Only in the past couple of days have I decided to keep it but move it to the next book.

Which breings me to your other comment; 'Throne of Bhaal' will not be dealt with in a couple of chapters but will be a book in itself; 'Tabula Avatar 2: Throne of Buffy'. Coming soon (although probably not soon enough) to a computer near you.

I was traveling and missed this when it was posted. This band has really grown. I'm looking forward to the exciting conclusions! Also, to the coda to the exciting conclusions!

Sorry the conclusion and coda haven't appeared yet; I spent most of December and January watching the two rival World Darts Championships. And I got a new computer, on which I was able to play Skyrim (my previous computer overheated every time I played it and crashed as a result every half-hour or so) and that seduced me, first into playing hours of Skyrim every day and then into writing a Skyrim fic. I am still working on 'Tabula Avatar' but only at a rate of a couple of hundred words a day.

This is really well written as always. In addition to finishing TA, do you have any plans to write more of A Plague of Serpents or has it been abandoned? I reread all 8 chapters again recently and am keen to find out how it ends.

I put 'A Plague of Serpents' on hold while I wrote 'The King of Elfland's Daughter', which immediately preceeds APOS in the TA-verse chronology. Then I decided to finish off 'Tabula Avatar' before returning to APOS. Don't worry, it hasn't been abandoned, it's just taking a while.

No, I might do the first chapter of TA2:TOB before resuming APOS, possibly, but I'll be restarting APOS well before I finish TA2.
