It wouldn't be a very satisfactory ending to the story if Conan slew Tara and Roshan; I think you can feel confident that won't happen.

Why would he think that? I think the girls are not clothed nearly enough to even look remotely like men trying to pass themselves for wom... oh, wait, you didn't mean that kind of trap. :p

yay, an update, and a nice long one too! Good stuff. I like Roshan a lot. I know nothing about Conan except what was in the movie (of course the best thing in that was the soundtrack...) but your version of that world feels real to me. I liked the braiding of the three different timelines too.

Of course Bödvarr the One-Eyed predicted ABBA's win! It's little touches like this, in the middle of the Apocalypse predictions, that are the grace notes of a Speaker!fic.

Happy to see this, just wish there was a distant rumble of "Thunder".

Thank you! The Conan background is taken from the R E Howard story "The Scarlet Citadel", including the tentacle monster and the overheard dialogue of Conan and his companion. Olgerd Vladislav is from Howard's story "A Witch Shall Be Born".

Great new chapter. Well, seems like Spike isn't going through a crazy phase here after regaining his soul.

And I'm looking forward very much to see Tara interact with Conan. Actually, with that wizard dude Conan has in tow, too. Should be interesting to see Buffyverse and Conanverse magic contrasted directly.

Spike's madness in canon may have been due, not to the soul, but to the First Evil tormenting him. In this story that hasn't started yet.
