I love the start to this - and the 'high style' introduction made me giggle unabashedly. I also enjoyed Spike's evaluation of Tara's fightin' forms and potential, expecially 'Bambi on ice.' Looking forward to more!

This is fun! I can imagine Spike teaching Tara some moves (and his commentary). I don't think I would have thought of Tara in Conan's world--it's not quite as incongruous as Spike in the Land of Nogs, but close. Looks like a fun adventure for her.

BTW, small typo, after Tara and Roshan escape and are far enough away, you have: “They will not follow us this far,” the girl said, and she reigned in the horse. She reined in the horse. Unless she's queen of the horse, from the inside. Hmm.
