I think there may be something wrong with the youtube link; it took me to a really random collection of videos. Or maybe there's a connection between Giles and some one's pug-dog dancing in a circle to the sound of a blender that I just don't get? Though I can't completely rule that out!

I watched it - there was a rather odd Bond spoof with newsreaders and Roger Moore, which was quite funny despite being thrown together in an afternoon, which is typical for CIN. Comic Relief always has the more thoughtful and funny celebrity skits. (Still smarting over the woefully ungigglesome Weakest Link Doctor Who parody from a couple of years ago, and Dimensions in Time from '93). From a perving-at-newsreaders angle, The Kaplinsky did look remarkably desirable all night. It must be because you know it's wrong. Also crushing on F Cotton... but overall, they didn't really have much of a budget this year and it showed. I think Terry Wogan had had a few drinks off-camera by the end of it... plus ca change!

I don't often watch Children in Need, though I did catch a nauseating bit of The Sound of Music before we switched over for Simon Schama on Turner, which was much more interesting. I tend to help in some mild fund-raising at school (cake sale stuff) and feel I've done my bit and can be let off the telly part. I did enjoy the QI, which I saw last week too.
