Happy birthday to reddwarfette

Here is a tiny birthday ficlet. A little piece of drabbling insanity inspired by a coincidence of names in two non-Whedonverse fandoms. 100 words, rating G.

The Han from U.N.C.L.E.

“Mr. Solo, I have a mission for you,” Mr. Waverley said. “It appears that T.H.R.U.S.H. agents are plotting to divert the Gulf Stream.” His eyes turned to Solo’s companion and his eyebrows shot up. “Good heavens! You are extremely disheveled today, Mr. Kuryakin. Apparently you have been neglecting to shave. And you are not your usual urbane self either, Mr. Solo.”

In a galaxy far, far, away Solo raised his eyebrows. “This doesn’t seem quite like the usual U.N.C.L.E. mission.”

Illyia nodded. “I agree, Napoleon, but it’s definitely urgent. How on Earth did T.H.R.U.S.H. manage to build a Death Star?”

And a self-pimp; yesterday I posted my Witch story for the watchersdiaries ficathon. If you like my historical stories and you missed this one then go and check out Days of No Trust.

Breaking news: I've just found out that it's been nominated in the 'Supernatural' category at the Fang Fetish Awards. I'm absolutely thrilled to bits about that! I have a suspicion as to who might have nominated me; thank you very much!
