That was so cute! And apparently I should read author's comments more closely, because I missed the part about John being a dog, and so it took me a minute to figure out who the dog was! But it was really cute (even if I am a cat person!). :-)

Dude, I am SUCH a cat person (my cat is like my feline soulmate), so this was very hard to write as my experience with dogs begins and ends at getting bit by one! Luckily, Annie is totally a dog person, so she was crazy helpful.
