As the days past Katara’s emotion were out of synch. She felt like she wasn’t her normal self. She would snap at anything and everything her friends did. What frustrated her was that no one took her feelings seriously. Whenever she’d talk to anyone about Azula, they’d always just suggest that perhaps she accept the confusing emotions. She was told it would cleanse her soul.
None of them understood it. None of them could. They would think she was crazy for believing Azula could be anything but a monster. She was sure no one but maybe Azula herself could understand the mixed emotions she needed to face. She had to face them. Eventually.
