Over the years Imogen watched as Constance Hardbroom’s cruel words worn Davina down. Even though Miss Bat was the kindest person she knew, Hardbroom would never cut her any slack. Imogen felt like Miss Bats had become a ticking bomb, ready to explode, with Davina leaving Cackle’s for good. That was the worst thing Imogen could imagine.
She needed to find something to neutralize Davina’s stress as it’d been particular rough this year for her. Imogen spent most of her free time with Davina hoping it would help.
