Guess I'll be a considerate son of a bitch for once and wish people well. Merry Christmas, people. Hope you all had a fucking blast with whatever the hell you were doing with your cheerful Yuletide time~
(Screened) Well uhm, on Christmas Eve my family and I first go to volunteer at a shelter, then we go to church, after that is caroling with friends of the family.
Then we go home and just spend time together and enjoy one another. Christmas Day we open presents, my whole family comes and we have a big dinner and then spend the night having sweets and playing games.

They do sound cute. But I guess that would be kinda expected if it's your family.
You're allowed to feel sad over missing your family, especially at this time of the year, and I'm sure they do miss you as well. You'll get used to being apart from them with time, though. But it's not like you won't still get to see them every once in a while. Maybe you'll be able to go and spend time with them next Christmas even. Try not to think about how you can't see them right now and instead look forward to the next time that you will get to see them. Maybe during...whatever the next Christian holiday is.

Since they're your own family, I suppose it would seem odd to think of them that way, though I've always thought my own could be pretty adorable at times. Or at least my siblings and cousins can be anyway.
There's always going to be that danger no matter when you decide to go. But if that works out better for you, then I guess it'll be something to work towards.

...This is why you're unhappy, isn't it? Because you're not getting to do all that like you usually do.

I think I am just a bit down because I miss everyone, and I am worried they are missing me.

Thanks? I think?
I guess maybe if I worked really hard in training I could maybe make an Easter visit...but really any visit would be great.

So I take it you're not planning on visiting them for New Year's either?

Never thought of them that way...
Probably not. I think maybe Easter. I don't want them in danger because of the monsters.
