As you've probably noticed, I've pretty much jumped ship to Facebook. I still check in every once in a while, but not often.

I hear you. I'm neither here nor there now; I'm not able to keep up with Facebook due to its volume, and have relegated myself to playing catchup here on LJ as well. Also, we're entering into crunch, which means less recreation time. :-/

Be aware that if you answer yes I might actually have a use for facebook.

If they have come with you, I'd take a close look at the terms of service, make sure they don't claim to own posted material like MySpace.

Yes, and I appreciate that you care enough to send them, but the invites you and others have sent are by themselves not enough for me to go. Remember, the major feature people most often use as a reason to switch, the ease of reconnecting with old acquaintances, is the main reason I stay away. I like not being found.

Having most of my friends migrate there is enough make me think about switching, but that's it. In order to actually take the plunge, I need some reason, some tangible benefit other than all-your-friends-are-doing-it-so-why-don't-you.
