I agree Boycott definitely brings a lot of negativity to the table regarding, well, everything. I also think quite a large dose of blame should be put squarely on the over-opinionated Shane Warne and the vindictive super-troll of an ex-England batsman that I don't care to mention because each mention of his name just inflates his super-ego and keeps him thinking he's still relevant.
If that trio would back off and the rest of the media would start making some more positive noises about our England side then maybe things would start going in the right direction, i.e. the direction we all know the England boys are already heading in.

You're right about credit being where credit is due and Mathews did a magnificent job for his team, but I do think that those tactics against Root on the final day was just poor form on the part of all the Sri Lankan team; there is a line and they were awfully close to it (if not slightly over)
