so i got my ionia idol acceptance letter last night! i'm in the top 45 and will be singing wednesday july 26 at the ionia free fair e-park stage...if i'm in the top 5 of 15 that night i move onto the finals that saturday! wish me luck or better yet come on out! :)

so i mailed in my audition tape for ionia idol today...cheesy title i know and i don't really care whether or not i have bragging rights to the title, but it's a $1500 cash prize for 1st place, $750 for second, and $250 for third...i'd welcome any one of those :P wish me luck! the website said they'll let me know by mail if i make the top 45 :)

the finale always chokes me up...i'm really really glad that taylor won this season

AND CLAY AIKEN SHOWED UP!!!! oh how i wished i was the kid they surprised!!!!!! that's been one of my dreams since he was on the show orginally...just to sing a duet with him...

today i went in for my 6 month check up with the doctor who took out my cyst back in october...i go to see him now every 6 months for the rest of my life basically...he poked around my innards and said all is well so good news there...still waiting on the results of the blood tests but he says all should be well there too (unless the diabetes shows ( Read more... )
