i was never a real fan of the original dracula story - tend to prefer anne rice, myself - but this re-working of the tale is very nicely done. it's got all the elements, and yet it's not just a cheesy gender-flip. good going.

Most of my Dracula research was done through watching the 1992 version of Dracula - a lot...I think my eyes bled a little. lol

Heh, well, I wanted Dracula in the fic, but not Dracula himself and decided what if Ella got infected with the blood of Dracula, how would that work exactly? After tossing some ideas against my friends, this came about. :D
