So I was procratinating today, which is actually pretty par for the course. In procrastinating, I was wandering about YouTube, as I often do, and somehow found myself looking at old 1950s educational films. You know the type - sexist, racist, homophobic "how-tos" for impressionable young minds.

I didn't know that you have such a fascination with the old 'educational' films. Amanda was showing me some of them on Gaia Online...I have to say that they are quite good for a laugh. I had to ask my grandma about them actually; she didn't recall ever being forced to watch them, but she wasn't sure.

Are they all on YouTube?

Yep, all these videos are on You Tube. Some of them you have to be careful with, because people have taken the old footage and redubbed them, but pretty much anything with a date in the title is the original movie.

....Wow. Just piles of wow. You need cuddles and to update more regularly with smaller portions of text. I think eighteen of my brain cells just died trying to process all of that information at once.

My high school health videos were all black & white and silent. The bad guy was genital herpes; you know, with the big black moustache and the fedora. He tied the young girl's sexual future to the train tracks of a lifetime of pills, creams and embarassment.

Oh woe.
