I am literally without adequate words to describe how this made me feel. I tried to hold back my tears at first since I was near other people, but I eventually just gave up. This story is so absolutely heartbreaking, and the depth of emotion and pure realism in it just took me completely by surprise. You captured the boys' characters so perfectly! This story has everything I could possibly hope for in a fic, and more.

Thank you for writing this, it broke my heart in a wonderful way. <3

Now I'm off to look at all the other wonderful fics you've written!

Oh, god. First, of course - Deeeeaaaan! *sob

Second - I loved the prompt, I thought Yellow Fever was a heartbreaking episode for all it was played for the funny, and you totally brought that out. Having it be from Sam's POV was great too, and seemed very in character for him based on the episode.

Finally - Hell/Alistair stories are my crack and god of course Sam would be a great weapon. Deeeeaaaan!

I loved "Yellow Fever" and I've always been a little bothered by the way Sam reacted (at first I thought maybe we were just seeing his reactions through Dean's eyes and since his self-confidence level is hovering around negative 200 that could explain it), so this was my opportunity to defend Sam's behavior. Or explain it? Anyways I loved this prompt.
