This is such an interesting concept; both in terms of its base idea, but also in terms of (big) Sam and what those ideas mean for him, here. I really enjoyed reading this. It's not often you read a fic that's both high fluff and high cerebral(ness?); it's a rare treat. Thank you for this!

This is so late but THANK YOU!! This comment means a lot--I'm trying to write fluff without making it 100% ludicrous and I'm glad you think it's working. :) <3

Another great entry in this intriguing series! Great Bobby Singer. I choked up at why he responded to Sam's letter, "....you said where you come from, Bobby Singer’s never once let you or your brother down.” And I could "see" him looking at wee Winchester boys with yearning eyes.

And once again, you don't shy away from the hard issues of this "world." Not for adult Sam or small Dean. Beautifully imagined and executed.

I can't tell if these tears on my face are from sadness for Sam's loss or sweetness of convincing Dean he is a Good Boy Too and, dare I say it, worthy of being loved.

Either way, this is lovely.

I'm glad you like it! I like to think that, faced with impromptu parenthood, some of that painfully earnest sweetness of Sam's would reemerge, and probably do wee!Dean a world of good. :)

Oh, my, these are heartbreaking, the wee boys, Sam out of place and apart from Dean, but also that hope that maybe, once they're more settled and secure with Sam, that the li'l lads will get some benefit from that. I've come over all woobie about them.

Pure, unadulterated, cuddly fluff is just what the doctor ordered tonight. <3

Sam speaking the words Sammy needed to hear in the language he knew Dean could overhear? Great parenting right there.

Also, I appreciate the moments of remembrance and loss you continue to work in for Sam. He may have gained a world, but he has also lost one.
