Holy shit, girl. How the hell have you been? I saw you one night when I was leaving the ART theatre on 4th, (When "Little Children" was there) but you were walking and I was driving and on the other side of the road....so the Hello was just not meant to be that night ( ... )

Lisa! Your response really made me smile. Thanks for writing back . . . sometimes when I'm in downtown Long Beach I randomly think that I may run into you. I think that night you saw me I was just leaving the Art theatre, after having just seen Little Children. (The book and the movie were both amazing, if you have not read or seen either). Since I finally turned of age I must admit I have been spending more time down there. When I first was approached about moving to South Coast Plaza, I was honestly very apprehensive, because there is not one ounce of me that identifies with the Orange County breed. The amount of money these women throw down is obscene and frightening, and I often feel like there's no way I can ever connect. Lately, though, I've finally allowed myself to just accept a job as a job, and I do have a decent one ( ... )
