If you are angry, then let yourself feel that feeling. It's valid. I'd be angry too. Who wants to be the 'nothing better to do' plan B?? And that's completely rude, what they did at the museum. It doesn't even make sense-there's no excuse for that. I might not be the best person to ask, since I've dumped a really good friend for the same reason. I hate feeling let down. Some people can handle that, and some people can't. You can't choose which way you feel about it.
I'm in a similar situation with Diane. I guess we're not even friends anymore, and that is so surreal when I think about it. I try not to.
Anyway, not to hijack your entry. I just wanted you to know that I get it.
Jackie - you're the best. Thanks for the comments and you can kidnap my post anytime. You're friendship with Diane is one of the reason why I want to see you so badly. The whole thing is crazy and I want details.
I think you remember I went through a similar thing with my friend Becky last year. Yes. Your feelings are totally valid. No one wants to be canceled on time and time again, or be kept at bay only to be pulled out and played with when there is nothing better going on. You deserve better.
