Yeah it's been confirmed by Showtime. The ten second promo they have for Season Five says it's the final season.

BTW, after all of the hype there's been for The L Word season two...is anyone else confused by the lack of hype for the final QaF season? Because, really, what the shit is that.

I posed this same question to my sister last night when yet another channel had an L Word promo. It seems like they are everywhere! QAF has never gotten this much publicity! Something isn't kosher here! or maybe I am just biased...
