Hello, this is Ivan, if we haven't been introduced. I asked Montblanc to post a bill on the message board for my... pets, so here's some information about the hunt, if you're interested. I'd really appreciate any help ( Read more... )

Huh, well, I never tried bounty hunting before, but! I'm about the same size as your friend-friends! So, you know, I could get into their little hidey-holes easier'n a human could.

And. If types work the same for them as they do with me, I can take both Electric and Flying attacks better than others. Would electric shocks hurt 'em too much?

Uh, but wait a sec. Unless sitting on them until they calm down or making them go trophy would count as capture, I do have that problem. Um. ...Would it?

((If Pika meddling would at all affect the Sin plot, just lemme know. Would hate to be the annoying person who Saves the Day when it needs no saving, but he wanted to respond. XD He has an answering machine post in his LJ for any OOC plotting if Sparky isn't on AIM which is normal at the moment. :3))

I hadn't thought of that, but it's a good idea! That could make it much easier to get at them.

They're fairly resistant to electric shocks, so I don't think it would hurt them much, no. At least, it's never seemed to when I've shocked them. And if you're resistant to theirs, too, that should help quite a bit.

I've... never tried sitting on them, actually, so I don't know. What do you mean by "making them go trophy"?

((Whoops forgot to include this first time. We're only using three Djinni for Galileo, but the other five are free to hunt! So this should work. :D))

Well, if a human caught them, they could just hold on, right? I'm the same size, so if they didn't want to go I might have to pin them until they calmed down, if that wouldn't just scare 'em more. Since you said they were pets, I'm gonna guess they're not smart enough to talk so's this place can translate them.

You know, go trophy! When someone gets hurt too badly?

((Sweet. :D Always best to check, is my RP motto. :) ))

That could work. They may even come willingly if you can catch up to them - but if they do fight back, I guess pinning them would probably be effective. And, er... I'll admit they're not terribly bright, true...

Sorry, I'm still not sure I follow... I do need them back in one piece, if that's what you mean!

((Good policy lol. Do you want to thread the encounter, or would you rather just say he found it and maybe thread returning it instead?))
