Please understand. I don't think you are necessarily living in a state of C.H.A.O.S. ("Cant Have Anyone Over Syndrome".) But the whole system of routines makes it easy to stay on track and to avoid being overwhelmed. The routines become habit, and that makes them *very* easy. One friend of mine has been very stubborn, insisting "I KNOW how to clean, I just don't do it!" But this woman isn't simply telling someone how to clean her (or his) home: she's advocating building healthy habits which make keeping your home peaceful and blessed and making the cleaning *easy.* And when the home is peaceful, that's a blessing to you and yours.
I've been thinking about you. Looks like you've accomplished what you needed to get done. You always do. Just wish it wasn't so stressful. I'll remind you next year, but you I know you won't listen!
I did mangage to do everything, you are right, but it was very 'knackering' as we say here!Maybe if I actually DO start preparing in June it wont be so bad....
I will keep that in mind, but you seem to have entertaining in your blood! See if you can get invited anywhere next year, instead! Much easier to buy a hostess gift than to clean up like mad.
