Can you knit? Scarf/hats/gloves - that kind of thing. If you paint you could paint a landscape/pet portrait etc. Write a poem and frame it. That's all I have I'm afraid.

Thanks for the ideas Chell. I'm afraid I can't knit :( maybe one day I'll learn. I did paint a picture for my dad the Christmas before last ... I could paint but I'd need some inspiration, I can't paint from my imagination. I'm thinking of making a card for Matt and writing a poem in it.
I can't believe you've been married nearly a year now, I bet it's flown by!x
