Well, that and there was a lame storyline about Morgana, some druid, Mordred, and a magic hunk of quartz. But yeah, mostly it was Merlin angsting.

I loved that crystal. I collect rocks as a hobby and so wanted a quartz crystal like that one!

LOL on the angsty Merlin but really Arthur has been too nice to him lately and probably he needed to back off before his father caught on. So he pulled some yelling time in but Merlin didn't get the memo.

It seemed like a lot more yelling than usual though, y'know? If the writers pull that too often, I feel like it's going to be less believable that Merlin exists to protect and serve Arthur.

I actually didn't think it was too much yelling. Yes it was compared to the last couple of episodes but this time he was in front of his knights and Merlin was screwing up enough to make Arthur look bad. So I thought it was believable. *shrugs*

We'll see how they handle the next two episodes.

My hope is that Arthur and Merlin might get like, an actual scene that doesn't involve an entire battalion of knights. :|
