We spotted the sign on the M1 and made a 2 second snap decision :) Gorgeous place! I wish we'd had a little more time to see the gardens etc, but the house was stunning. It was good fitting something else in to make the most of the journey.

I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend, although I think I flagged a bit on Saturday evening, I came to life again about 11pm of course! We gabbed until about 1am mentally re-constructing those corsets. So a big thank you to all from me as well :)

It soudns so amazing! I hope that there's another trip planned, and that it's with enough notice that I can save up money and get off work and fly across north america and the atlantic! Just don't seem to have this wealth out here (well, at least in a museum. One of the largest private collections on the continent is a local woman).

I'm inspired just hearing about them!
