And I'll cheer you every step of the way. I used to do costume work, when I was doing my Fashion degree. Oh, for the chance, to be able to do full on costume work again. But, I would probably always walk the line between steampunk and lolita.
:D Thanks! I am not 100% sure what I want to do because daily wear seems to not be going so great for me.... but maybe I just need to try harder! *determined face*
:x I saw that before the thread with Megan started. Well, it's only just one person who doesn't like your line anyway, it is not so bad. Just that a lot of lolitas don't like shiny material like taffeta, but (as seen at NakamaCon with KMK dresses) a bunch of girls DO like it. I don't think she gets the "custom" part of your line.... if she doesn't like the material, she can (omg) choose a different one! O_o
Besides, obviously SOMEBODY loves you, which is why you were suggested in the first place! In any case, BC > CV in my honest opinion. The price vs. quality/detail/design of CV I think is not at a good balance... though I do like some of her designs, I wouldn't be willing to pay her prices. Especially for the Atelier line :/
Let me addendum on what the girl says. Moire and Tafetta is fine. I don't understand why ppl get their high drama on when it comes to silk with lolita. I love silk. You give me silk and you got a fan for life. I think the next thing I should do, after I finish my watermelon jsk is a completely silk lolita outfit. Take that, narrow-minded people.
