Preach it.

The emphasis on "teachable moments" once again puts the onus on the disadvantaged group to end prejudice and seriously, like we don't already have plenty of shit to deal with. And of course, if you acquiesce but are understandably terse (because you're probably explaining a truth that your people have had to deal with for CENTURIES) then you get the "Oh, why are you being so meeeeeeean?!" response. And then the conversation switches to tone and eventually the original point is lost...

*sigh*

People suck, is in essence where I'm going with this.
