I don't think the universe hates you, but your family does seem to be enterely evil. And your cats too. Though everyone's families and cats are evil, if it makes you feel any better.

Oh for goodness' sake. They make world clock apps that TELL you what time it is in different places. I have one that has listings for every SO I have. Hell, Google can tell you in a pinch what time it is elsewhere.

Also, your cat? Next time, just follow Beloved's example, pull the covers over your head and snore.
