Criticising popular culture is an absolitely valid - even essential - thing to do, and it's just as important to do it with the things we love as the things we're not so keen on. Plus a lot of criticism focusses purely on the artistic/aesthetic merit of books/movies/TV shows, especially with regard to fiction, so I think it's good to look at it from a more socio-political standpoint.

I love the podcast - it's one of the highlights of my week :) Is Tami taking a sabbatical, or has she given it up entirely? And Dan seems to have disappeared too ...

Dan joined us for a short time but had so much on his plate. Tami is rather snowed under with 101 projects at the moment so is now having to take a step back and fulfill the essential role of Taking the Blame

Because I was up to my eye balls I kind of threw this post together for conetent, because while I think every world is important, I also kind of put it together while doing 9 things - I didn't expect it to be very good :)
