Although I may be judging your blood relatives harshly due to my own decision not to let mine continue to harm me I cannot see any redeeming feature in their onging vile treatment of you and your husband.

Then again, I probably would also have cut off the family completely ten years ago, having told them that since they feel like pretending I don't exist that I will return the favour, and that they are welcome to contact me if they ever grow up but not before then.

Well the rift is there and it's growing and not only hgave I given up trying to close the rift, I'm not even sure I want to any more
