What is the RIGHT form of activism?

I've been to many a Pride Parade and though, "While they do have hot men in scantily clad outfits, what does Altoides have to do with Gay Pride?" So I do agree that there is more and more heavily commercialized floats going on. Now a church join in... now that means something. I can remember this one year in Los Angeles there was a Gay Buddhist Monks gathering to be in the parade. There were 3 of them, one being a friend. It almost made me laugh because, really, 3 people?! But it also gave me pause to say 'look at the courage of these three men who would otherwise be forgotten.' So, while not the most powerful of floats, it had a powerful message ( ... )

They are more heavily commercial and part of me is annoyed by that and part of me is heartened - I mean marketing products directly to GBLT people? It's a sign ( ... )
