Well, what can I say, fic got back from first beta. Tomorrow will probably get sent to the second one. Meanwhile I mope at home during my second no-school week. I think I've never had such a strong desire to actually go to school. I barely walk, though

3. It depends on the person, I guess, and the reasons given for it to be a mistake. Options:

- Try to hurt him by tellim him something like: No it was not a mistake, I just wanted to have fun, nothing else, and more or less I managed to do it. Other bloke would have been as suitable as you for that.
- Tell him to fuck off and never talk to you again.
- Plead and recognise there're feelings involved.
- Try to hurt him somehow, i.e. hitting on someone else.

- I could confront him and tell him he's just a coward and that friend stuff is just a excuse --come on! we've had sex twice! how many "mistakes" does he need to get it?--

- I could believe him be a good girl and decide that our friendship is very important, so I just stay by his side until he makes up his mind. Very improbable.

- I try to wind him up to recognise that he feels something for me (or at least he likes me *coughstwice* and I'm worth taking the risk) Because I'm worth it :P

- I shout and make a scene and ask if he really thinks that after what has happened --he's used me-- I want to be his friend

I'm sorry about your guy. That sucks when that happens. I'm basically with oconel on responses, but it also depends on what condition you were both in when it happened. If you've been led on, you have real grounds to do the "fuck off you loser" thing. If it was a drunken fling, well, I'd probably want to try and pretend it was as meaningless to you too. (Really liking suggestion 1 above, for example.) I tend to figure that if there REALLY no hope of you two getting together you may as well salvage your pride if you can.

Re: Chinese names - If it helps, mine was Xiao Xue. (pron: She-ow Shoe-eh) It means "Little Snow". I believe it has connotatons of purity, perhaps like calling your daughter Chastity. Given Chinese names for little girls tend to be prefixed with "little" (xiao) and I also knew a Xiao Bai, (Little White [one] - alluding to the beauty of pale skin, a Chinese ideal). You could always ask maetang of course, as well. She's a Singaporean lady on my flist. She's lovely, and I'm sure would be very glad to help

No, no, no! It didn't happen to me in RL *thanks God* It's a hypothetical situation in a fic :) I just can't get the reaction to be truthful. But in the end things will work out so i can't exactly use the 'you are a sucker' type of responce in its full beauty.

Well. I loved him (or thought I did) for six years and he knew it. One night, at a party.....we continued for about a year off and on whether each was dating others or not. Finally we had "the talk" and he was oh so shocked to learn that I didn't think we were just fuck friends (idiot)..there is of course, more to the story but it's a little intense for LJ, regardless, it doesn't hurt anymore but he'd better hope I never catch him down a dark alley someday....it helps that we live about 1500 miles apart from each other, I think. Keeps me out of jail, at least.

You sleep with someone. In the morning they rather blatantly tell you the 'it was a mistake' story. You really, really, really like the person and actually have known them in a while, including another fling with them a while ago. But if asked you stubbornly repeat that you have no feelings. Give me examples of your reaction.

I'd just walk away and promise to myself that I'm never ever going near that person again, no matter in what condition I would be. Oh, and for saving myself from the humiliation that the guy might guess how I feel, I'd tell him that I regard it as a mistake as well, because, you know, I'd drunk too much before hopping into bed with him, anyway.
