They are not! I did not mean to do anything to them!

Are they moving?! Clear their airways! Check for a pulse!

They are not moving. Where are their airways? Where do they have a pulse? I can't find anything on them except fur!

Should hire a cook.

I can cook! I should not try dishes I do not know.

Maybe they do not like spicy food? I am certain that it will be fine for us to eat, Dad!

Perhaps that is it. Good! If you are sure. I have not hurt anything with my cooking before.

If there was something wrong with your cooking we would have gotten sick before now!

I do not know if it does or not. This is the first time I have tried it.

From here, I cannot be certain that they have died, but it seems like a plausible conclusion.

I am sorry.

Perhaps it would be wise to keep the survivors from your food. I do not believe that most food harms them. Is there some particular ingredient that you used which might have acted as a poison? Something untested, perhaps?

I think they might have too.

It is not your fault.

I will. I use a lot of peppers in my cooking. I bought a new one at the market that was said to be very good and very spicy.

That was not nice of them at all!

Did you get something else to eat, at least? I couldn't possibly ask you to teach me without dinner!

I think that this is fine to eat. I am trying to decide.
