...I hadn't thought of that. On the one hand, they are simply a means by which to express elation, and there is nothing to fear from them. But on the other hand, could I have possibly offended someone? This is an unfortunate predicament!

I agree so very heartily! How were the cherry blossoms in your world this year? I was away from the village in my case, but a gentle breeze blew several petals by me, and it was more than enough.
