In the old days it was easy to bring in customers. It was an age before lawsuits, so the handlers could get away with more. Sally would do her little snake act and then pose for pictures draped in Silk, her biggest golden boa. What it lacked in class it made up for in showmanship. She always had a line to touch the snake and get a picture

A new vet was hired. Jon was a brilliant, but cold and clinical for such a young man. Sally's python Silk died, and her second string boa turned on her, breaking her ribs and crushing her spine. By then Sally's daughter was able to take up her duties, but the shows stopped. Laurie didn't mind handling and talking about the reptiles, but she wasn't going to wear something scanty and pole dance with one. Especially with the new vet around. Perhaps the similarity to reptiles was a turn on
