God, the Vietnamese chick needs a fandom name! She's so damn cool and I keep wanting to use her in AUs, but I have nothing to call her.

And yeah, great use of what's practically a canon ghost story. I wonder if finding out about VC (that's her handle for now, tastless pun not intended) was what kept Sally from actually getting with Eddie. Because hung up as she is, she does seem to actually know exactly how terrible he is, and I can only imagine being all full of preggo hormones and finding out what the father of your baby did.

And author anon, it's a great story, well told. The ghost could well appear earlier in time, ghosts are exempt from linear time.

...Actually, in all seriousness, the bigger the reason you have to be pissed off, the bigger your ghost powers in a lot of lore. And to be iced along with your unborn baby for mussing up someone's pretty face is a pretty big reason.

Wow, I didn't even expect a fill let alone one so fast. And this is really, really good. Thank you! It's perfect that the murdered lady should be a vengeful ghost, I think fans too often obsess about the matter Eddie being forgiven or absolved for trying to rape Sally and forget about this completely unforgivable thing he's done.

I really like that she didn't take out her rage on Sally, a fellow victim. I hate when in movies and stories, the vengeful ghosts become beings of pure malice and nobody thinks about the injustice that spawned them.

And I like imagining, in this verse, that years later Eddie will come home with that scar on his face and Sally will know what he's done.
