Nite Owl emitted a choked laugh. Roscharch's body language betrayed confusion.

"You /what/? You've got to be joking..."

Nite Owl's words trailed off, disbelieving words edged with confusion and desperation. If Adrian was insane, then maybe... Nite Owl allowed himself a small bit of hope.

"Perhaps a demonstration would be in order."

Adrian flickered, and a much younger boy stood in his place.

Nit Owl stared. Rorsharch mumbled to himself about mind control, hallucinagens, and secret government technology.

"My plan would be imposdible with today's technology- you, Daniel, should know that. No, there are things in this world beyond mortal ken..."

First of all, it's about the squid plan, which is some sort of lovecraftian horror sent from the past when... something.
