When he is almost finished, when he is next to done, she hands him his mask reverently. He kisses her on the cheek, takes in the scent of her perfume, then backs away and pulls it on.

He straightens up.

“Stop dawdling Daniel. Have work to do.”

Daniel tugs off the wig and sighs while Rorschach stomps into the basement.
