Maybe your motives were all wrong?

My grand plan was to start and finish my Social Policy essay today. I told everyone I was going to do it, even though deep down in my heart I knew that I wouldn't. When have I ever written a 2,500 word essay in one day? (When have I ever written a 2,500 word essay?)

At any rate, I have at least 10 references (that I have read!), and an essay plan ( Read more... )

i like

-staring out the window and watching the placaes, the people, the things go past
-the bumps and the fun bits
- when the bus driver is nice, like the one on sunday night
-the fact that you could be anyone, no-one knows you, you don't know anyone, you have no past knowledge of anyone, nor do they have it of you..
-People with often nothing in common all having a common goal of going somewhere in particular.

That's very profound.
I liked the bus trip to your house and it went over the bridge and I was the only person on the bus without a suit and a copy of the financial review. That was an unforgettable experience, probably because it's only happened once.

I never realised how interesting the bus could be.

I might make a similar such list for the train soon. Already I can think of many list items.

i like buses...because....many reasons...i love the fact that ive only caught one bus in the past few weeks.(well, one bus there and one bus back...so two..) it made my bus trip yesterday very exciting...i had to stand up...and have my arm rouind the pole as i tried to read my very engaging book (and then there werre none, agatha christie)...it makes it fun, you dont knowq when or where corners are and u have to random.y grab things to stay standing upright...joy joy joy....its also funny watching those people who read while standing up...but since i was the only one i shall laugh at myself....

hows ur essay?

Bwahahahaha.

Trains do it for me.

* The smell of the grease pot as the train goes around a long corner.
* The look of bemused passengers asking the guard or CSA at the station if the train stops at *insert station here* after the stopping pattern was just announced and is clearly visible on the display.
* How long it takes for people to decide of they want to sit upstairs, downstairs or in the vestibule.
* People squinting at route maps that have tiny tiny writing.
* Kids finding moving between carriages amusing.
* People who are clearly uncomfortable sharing a seat with a stranger.
* The old fat guy with glasses sleeping in the corner as a child asks "why is he sleeping" to their mother.
* The guard who you can never understand, even if he is caucasian.
* People dead-set sprinting to make a train sitting at the platform, only to realise it doesn't leave for another 2 minutes.

Or on the flipside, the people who try to sprint from 60 metres away as they see the train pull in. And the sadistic guards who like to close the doors just as they're 2 feet away.

Welcome to my morning :P
