I wrote this for the "Miracle" challenge over at ds_flashfiction. Now that the challenge is officially over, I'm posting it here. This is the first story I've ever completed; I have little random fragments of others floating around that I started before being distracted by something shiny. But this one just flowed out of me...I guess that's called
