RX question

need to know if anyone's ever taken GABAPENTIN.

I was prescribed it today and I'm nervous about taking it. No reason, other than it's one of the few meds I've never taken before.

Any experiences would be welcomed.

my son takes it every night. His back is so messed up for a 27 year old that it is crazy. He was born with cogenital scoliosis and his curve never changed, but years as a waiter messed it up even more. Gabapentin is what saved him physically and saved his sanity. He is like a new person.

It does make you very sleepy. Get ready.
