the shiny little black babies in the first photo are, in fact, "pill millipedes", while the critter in the bottom two is a pill woodlouse. Both are capable of rolling into little balls when frightened, therefore both are totally and equally freaking sweet.
i used to have a lot of those wood louses as close personal .. um . neighbours. they lived in the roof, and i lived in the attic, and there were holes into the roof layers around my window/skylight (ooh fancy name for the window in the roof!).. i got pretty used to them, they mostly kept to their space, and i kept to mine. sometimes on lsd they'd kinda bother me though, and i may have had to incinerate a few of them. but as far as bugs go, they are pretty well behaved.
