Had the worst mission of my Iraqi tour 2 days ago. It was listed on the AMR (air mission request) as the Heroes missin. We have different names for different missions which I probably shouldn't and won't talk about. Anyway we had to to the hospital helipad in Baghdad's international/embassy zone. herpes zoster

hey erin. sorry we didn't come by on friday but on thursday night i took belah to the dr's because she had a rash on her arm that she said hurt (held her arm out and said owww.)
turns out because she had the chicken pox vaccine AND came into contact with someone with the virus she contracted herpes zoster, sounds horrible. basically scabies. sounds just as horrible. and it is contagious right now for people who haven't had the chicken pox or who's immune system is low, so... that means the little sammie and grandpa are definate no no's. as it is i hope i don't have the baby before she's healed or else i won't be able to have them around eachother. ahh it's always something. ( :
