That feeling when it's six minutes to midnight and I haven't updated yet and I'm committing to updating every single day and yet I don't know what to say.
Today I went on a walk! In the sunshine! It was cold but also very nice outside!
I also fostered my gentle yet fierce love of Hamilton-creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, by reading his
Twitter feed (note: this is a daily ritual), and then read some wonderful fanfic set in the latest iteration of the Star Wars universe.
Certain cozy rooms of The Internet have decided that the three main characters are probably all -- or will be, at some point, all -- together, which makes me very happy. Look, some kind soul has even written a long, rambly article about it:
Is Star Wars setting up Poe Dameron as its first queer protagonist? (Answer: THEY HAD BETTER BE.) This part made me grin: "From here on out, I was certain of two things: firstly, that Poe himself had absolutely had the potential to be canonically queer, and secondly, no matter what, that ship was going to sail like nobody’s business." ("Ship" is shorthand for "relationship," and can be used as both a verb and a noun. Here it refers to shipping Poe with the character Finn. And, hell yes I ship it, that's like half the reason I saw the film!)
So yes that's all very delightful.
Um. I also made dinner? Yes, and bought more toilet paper for the house. We now have leftover chili and two dozen rolls of TP. I probably could've stopped there and just called it a day, to be honest, those are pretty important accomplishments.
Look at me, being a real live adult. Woot, woot.
