OF COURSE I don't have any experience in [insert field]. How am I supposed to gain experience when the only ones who are ever hired are the people who already have experience?

Job hunting = le suck.

(hugs) The Catch-22 of the professional lifestyle. Totally the same problem I face in the industry I'm trying to make a career out of.

On another totally unrelated note, in Brookings at the moment, you coming here anytime so we can chill?? Thinking of going on a hiking/something outdoor and in the sticks trip and wanted to know if you are free? Gonna drag Trina with me, thought you might like to come. Also, the cell phone number I have for you doesn't work. :(

Ugh. Experience's such a circular thing. They want you to have experience but they don't give you the experience you need. -hugs- What job are you going for?

Ah yes the viscous cycle. This where we are all supposed to repent not taking internships in college. *blows raspberry at the system* *hugs Livy till she is sufficiently squished*

On a side note: the cell number I have for you doesn't work. I shall try to catch you on aim sometime.

I hear you on this one. The other killer was for certain engineering postions that stated, "You must have a CGPA equivalent to a 3.0 on 4.0 scale or higher." Well....I guess for certain academic institutions this would be so, but certainly not all. At SOME, like my alma mater for instance, even a 2.7 out of 4.0 for the CGPA would be good for my degree program (BSEE). In fact, that's what my current employer SAID when I interviewed ( ... )
