- No way to know what tweet a response was aiming at (Tweetie on iPhone has this though).

On the web, click on "in reply to blahuser" and this brings you to the tweet they were replying to.

Thanks! Never noticed before. It's written in the same colour as the rest of the text so I didn't realise it was clickable.

I wish you could block tweets with specific hashtags in them! Sometimes they fill up most of my twitter feed :(

Yeah, the twitter web interface is shit. use www.twittergadget.com, it has an auto-refresh ajax interface. It's my preferred 'client' on windows.

And yeah, twitter search/archives have always been broken which is annoying if there's a link you know you posted months ago but can't get at it.

Trending topics have improved somewhat in terms of spam, but still needs loads more work. Once the geo-tag is enabled on tweets it should open up possibilities for TTs to be shown for certain countries & cities which will be cool.
